This smoky, full bodied tea is a product of the famous Wu Yi mountain in Fu Jian Province. Apart from its Wu Yi characteristics, Rou Gui’s brew exhibits a hint of cinnamon in both its taste and aroma, which explains how this heavily fermented tea was given the name ‘Rou Gui’ [肉桂].
*Rou Gui means cinnamon.
