Pu’er is a type of fermented dark tea produced in Yunnan province, famous worldwide for its complexity in taste and potential health benefits.
This mature tea is even used as a medicine in some countries. Yet, its taste is much unlike bitter medicine, and instead likened to a deep breath of fresh air in a springtime pine forest after a heavy rain.
This rare 18 year old ripe Pu’er is sweet, mellow and full bodied with light traces of bitterness and a sweet aftertaste. It is for sure an interesting selection for seasoned drinkers.
