Pu’er is a type of fermented dark tea produced in Yunnan province, famous worldwide for its complexity in taste and potential health benefits.
This mature tea is even used as a medicine in some countries. Yet, its taste is much unlike bitter medicine, and instead likened to a deep breath of fresh air in a springtime pine forest after a heavy rain.
This big leafed variant of the Pu’er tea is aged for 28 years to develop a matured, aged fragrance and a smooth, earthy taste. A must try for new Pu’er drinkers.
